Santa Steve Project Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in our local communities. Through initiatives like The ReCyclers: bikes for KIDS, Santa Steve Christmas Dinner, and Dinners at the Village, we strive to provide essential resources and bring people together. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope and support for those in need.
Your contribution will directly impact our ability to supply food, gifts, parts, hall rental, and any other items needed to put on events.
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to our efforts. We also welcome non-monetary donations such as used bikes, bike parts, and gift cards.
Santa Steve Christmas Dinner started nine years ago by a group of like-minded community volunteers that wanted to make a difference at Christmas better for individuals in our community. This started the Santa Steve Christmas Dinner. Our main goal is to provide a wonderful Christmas Dinner party for low-income families, single parents and seniors.
Along of providing a wonderful Christmas Dinner, we try to provide a gift card from Walmart to give to our guests so that they can purchase Christmas gifts and/or food for their home to make their Christmas Holiday special. Last year we hosted 300 guests and our goal this year is to host 400 guests
Another project that was started nine years ago is the ReCyclers: bikes for KIDS by a few amazing volunteers. The Mission was to collect gently used bikes, refurbish them and give them away to kids and teens that just could not afford them. A goal has been set every year to give away at least 100 bikes annually. For 2024 we expect to give away our 2000 bike.
Another project that we are involved in is Dinner’s at the Village Housing through Chilliwack Community Services, which is a safe, affordable, transitional housing for youth who are homeless, or at risk of being homelessness. We provide two dinners a month, year-round. This is provided and served by volunteers for the Santa Steve Project Society.
